Nicola has painted since childhood selling her first paintings as a teenager in Inverness.

Since then having trained as a draughtsman and studying interior design, she returned to painting which was always her main passion. 

From the early 90's she has been working as a full time artist.

Today much of her work is commissioned.

Nicola works from her studios in the Black Isle and the Isle of Tiree.
